BBQ Dragon heat deflector/pizza stone

Just picked one up as I was dead set on buying a big green egg and had a smoking deal setup on one and decided that I have basically 2 kettles and a lot of accessories for them that I might as well just make it that much closer to a BGE. My relative who has a BGE as well as a kettle basically told me that my kettle will do the same as the egg however the egg may perform a little better at heat retention and keeping a temp... but essentially the same ability. So I will give a write up on this once I have some time to break it in... anyone have any experience with this product please let me know your thoughts.
