Corned beef and cabbage tonight
« on: January 13, 2019, 05:01:11 PM »
Hello all I have not felt well for last 6 days so have not grilled until today.

So I woke up early and cleaned off the grills. I started the two gassers and tossed the charcoal grates into them so I could heat them up to clean. I’m ashamed to say, I needed to clean them do to me leaving the vents open on the two grills. Unfortunately with the rain, warm weather, snow, and then cold, they we’re not as clean as I like.

Now breakfast was simple Scotch eggs no pictures so I’ll be brief...

2lbs Jimmy Dean breakfast sausage
8 large eggs

Grilled on high/medium 40 min rotating lid every 20 minutes
But the reason I am writing about with no breakfast pictures is... I topped it with @CatskillSmoker Maple syrup and kept on the grill for the last 5 minutes and it completely kicked A%S! Thanks Colin.

Now dinner Grilled Dutch oven corned beef.

If I didn't have to work tomorrow morning, I would be on my way for the leftovers.

Looks great!  A couple of my favorite dishes. I know you soft boil usually.

Do you drop the eggs in boiling water then cook for 5 minutes or do you do it differently?
