Just saw a post for a baby q for $25. Worth it?

Not sure, but I picked up a new Q1200 over the weekend at Walmart for $139. Also got an extra set of grill grates at Lowes for $6. I've never cooked on a gasser but going to this week sometime after work.

I googled baby q, internet had them for $169. I'm sure there are better deals. Figured for $25 what the heck. If nothing else maybe a me,bet will want it.

Also it could set on my performer table.

Oh heck yeah for $25 go ahead and get it. I'm gonna do some bratwurst on mine tonight, first cook so I'm going simple. I looked online at the reviews before buying mine and most everybody likes it.

Pancho 2017; Great buy as down here in Costa Rica the WeberQ 1200 sells for around $280.

Thanks tibas92017. Wow $280? It's wild how prices differ so much. I've still not used my new one, was wanting to get a cart first. Well today I looked on craigslist and found a used Q with cart for $25. I offered her $20 and went to pick it up after work. It works great, a little dirty but I'm gonna tear it down and clean it all up. I'm just happy I got a cart, if mine will fit on it I think it will.

Last year I couldn't resist picking up an unused baby-q for $20.. still has the original tags on it. I haven't had a need to fire it up yet.. not sure what I plan on doing with it.. but it was $20.

I got mine for free with credit card rewards points. But I would think if you pay for a used one, plus the cost of new grates and a new burner it is better to just buy a new one. A q1200 on Amazon goes for $199. Who wants to use someone else's dirty grates and grill? They are not so expensive where you have buy used. Maybe if it comes with the stand. But I would rather start with a new one myself. Great little grill once you get used to it. To buy used it would have to very clean and cheap. I see them selling used for a $100 plus, it does not make sense.

I'm excited to try my new one out. I bought it a week ago at Walmart on clearance for $138. Then Lowes had a set of grates on clearance for $6 which was a awesome deal. The used one I bought the other day for $20 I just wanted the stand. I couldn't see paying $69 for new stand and I got it cleaned up today looks really good and the Q1200 fits. The used grill I'm just gonna disassemble it, clean it up best I can and maybe put it back on craigslist next spring for $20 if it sells that's great if not oh well I got a nice cart out of the deal for $20.

The stand is a great find at $20. A 20lb tank of propane will last a long time with the small q. Not that propane is expensive but having to get refills for a large grill is a pita. The Weber 6563 Original Q Roast Rack for Grilling is good to have also but you can find a cheaper substitute. I am not sure if weber makes it anymore.

Baby Q's as great little grills.  I use mine a ton in winter for quick weeknight cooks.
