Just an observation, love hearing everyone's dedication to acquiring their birth year kettle. Luckily, I got mine a couple years ago, 1981 C code 'brownie'. (Brown is my last name). Love this grill, restored the original 'the one the only' handles and nothing else. She's equipped with all original accessories including condiment rack, corn and tater ring, and roast pan. Can't bring myself to cook on this one...
