Turkey and pork loin roast
« on: November 23, 2017, 12:42:38 PM »
May have over done it but welcome to flavor town. 2 boneless turkey breasts and a 5 pound pork loin roast cut in half, each piece done differently.

Have weber garlic jalapeno on one and rubs rub on the other. Injected both with Apple juice. And on the roti they went

Next up turkey breasts

Did one with a lemon, garlic powder, Limon pepper powder injected and coarse ground lemon pepper on top
and the other I marinated in a weber packet
Used orange juice instead of water for the liquid

Will update in a little while shooting for a 3ish o'clock dinner

Dunno if my grill temp dipped causing the internal temp to stall and drop or if my thermometer was too deep. But I recovered and things are looking good. Weird tho

Looks good ... hey what's that foil or metal sheet between them on the spit rod?
It's the iconic symbol for the backyard. It's family/friends, food and fun. What more do you need to feel everything [is] going to be all right. As long as we can still have a BBQ in our backyard, the world seems a bit of a better place. At least for that moment. -reillyranch

Just to keep the 2 apart while I was shanking them on the rod
