@LightningBoldtz    Jeff, the drone pics are just FABULOUS. The view from above is just crazy good. Definitely calendar material. Again, thanks for all your hard work putting this great event together.        8)

It's not just a grill, it's a WEBER

These drone pics would also make great high res wallpapers. @LightningBoldtz anyway these could be posted to flickr or high res somewhere?

I am glad the drone pics are a hit, this was one of the main events this year that I thought of when I purchased it a few months back.

Sorry this is a little late, but I just needed to thank everyone who attended, not just this year but any of the last five years.  The people make this meet up great.  The grills were just off the chart this year.  It was so awesome what everyone bought.

The event has gotten bigger and I thank everyone one who helped me out, it can't happen without you, @Craig, @Troy, @No.1agent, @lightningboltz  and my neighbor Pete.  Huge thank you.

I hope this meet up just keeps growing and getting better, it's a great time.

Lastly I just have to mention for those of you who may not know, the special stickers and the Chicago banner, that is the Chicago flag.  We thought it was fitting for this special occasion.  I'm hoping Troy will have shirts made with this logo.....

Again, thank you, thank you, thank you....

Hey I wanted to mention that @kneab did a remarkable restoration on a pretty rare grill that was at the meet up.  I had scored a legit steel wheel 18" brownie a few years back.  It languished in my yard for a long time.  Maybe a month ago I traded it to Kneab for an old Wood Dale.  Well he took it and really gave it the respect it deserved.  There aren't too many steel wheel brownies out there and this needed serious fixing up.  The legs were caddywampus, and a leg  was busted off with the socket fused on the leg.  It was a total rust bucket...

There may be more of these out there,  I know @harris has one, but they are hard to find, a rare bored indeed.  kneab did a remarkable job... Not sure if he did a post on it's restoration but I got to see it in person and it was really nice to see it like that.  To me that is what it's all about, taking a rare piece that was for all intents and purposes a piece of trash and getting it back to near factory condition....I hope someone took a pic and can post it here....

 Brian thank you.
I have not had the time to give this the proper write up that it deserves I took a fair amount of pictures and I will write something up one of these days.  But here is a quick before

And after

Thank you again for the opportunity to put the legs back under this one.

Having seen that steel wheel 18 brownie in person BOTH before and after, I can say, what an incredible job done on that grill. I was foolish and passed on it last year but I can see it landed in great hands! Nice work on that 18!
