OHS Wings on the 26er
« on: January 22, 2017, 09:14:13 AM »
Went to a card game last night and thought it was a good reason to give the Slow & Sear a run on the 26er with a load of wings.  30 full Orange Honey Sriracha wings for the boys.
Wings were dusted with Webers' Honey Garlic rub on Friday night and into the fridge to "chill".

Fixins' for the glaze

Set up the Black Pearl with some HD foil on the charcoal grate to  keep her clean and force air thru the SnS and gonna use the elevated half grate for the first part of the cook

Gonna run the SnS around 325* for the majority of the cook, lit a half chimney of KBB and topped the SnS off with unlit. Pecan on the grate for smoke.

Time to move a few wings from bottom to top

After the 2nd flip I opened all vents and moved all the wings to the main grate, made it easier to flip n dip. This is just before coming off the grill

Split and ready to eat....really juicy with just the right amount of heat

Thanks for stopping                      8)

Great looking wings! Love the shot with the yellow kettle in the corner. Did it do something bad to be put in the corner?
