While the WSM was chuggin away with the pork shoulder, I had a prime rib roast that was going for a roll in the coal for dinner. Now theres a story that I was and maybe still am taking a chance at this.. If i'm not dead or in the hospital tomorrow, I'll elaborate...LOL  After getting it loaded on to the spit, I loaded 2 coal baskets set on either side of the rod. Seems everything (the shoulder) came together about the same time so unfortunately the roast went passed the 130 i was aiming for, more towards medium, thankfully my "aging" of the meat (that will be the story) still kept it really tender... I took a que from Travis and did some cheese stuffed portabello mushrooms, i used a cheddar/jack blend. anyway, both my GF and I would be just as happy with tri-tip.

and I really wouldn't or couldn't pull off alot this without all you's guys help!!!!! Thanks!

Looks way damn good from here! And yes, I love me some tri-tip also!
Multiple kettles and WSM's. I am not a collector, just a gatherer... and a sick bastard.
