Brisket on the 22
« on: November 13, 2016, 01:44:30 PM »
This was my first attempt at doing a brisket on my kettle. It turned out very good. I was experimenting between fat side up or down, obviously here I chose up. Next time I will try down and see how that goes. The pictures are spaced about every hour or two when I basted it.

Dang, that looks great! Nice color on that.
Sure like to see a couple action shots of that red OTP in action. Good job!

Thanks! I think it was a little over smoked honestly. I'm always learning with each cook.

I can't remember the weight honestly. That was back in July and I've forgotten how much it weighed. I think maybe it was around 8-10 lbs?

They show up differently between a phone and your computer. Doesn't really matter though. Looks good from here!
