The backyard weber family checks out the new lights.

Here they are in action at dusk.

I like it but I think you need to add some covers.....

Your set up would look sweet with the covers.  I did exactly what you did, but just drilled the lids.....

I  thought about it.  There was a Smokey Joe POS at the resale shop today.  I should have bought it .  Probably $5.00 .

I don't like how my lights sag a bit. Also worried about our wind gusts here along the front range of the Rockies.  Adding a cover might also be adding a sail.   :(

Looks like you used threaded pipe vs conduit.   I used 1/2" conduit.  What did you use Brian ?

I used the threaded type that is good for outdoor use.  I think you could always add a chain for support or something like that, it might look cool too..it would look all industrial, with a chain or cable going back to the wall.  I think these lights will serve you well...I love mine....

That's a sweet setup, Java. Looks like you could plug a rotisserie right into the wall, no troubles.  I have basically the same SS Performer, and would love to be able to just plug it in without running cords across the yard.

And that SJ with the offset handle is quite a prize!  So beautiful.
