Only have cooked on it once so far and just did some chicken breasts but it worked great.  I need to use it again soon it when I have time I prefer using charcoal.

What did you use to clean up the black soot off the stainless?  I bought a 2013 Spirit SP-310 off CL ($65) and it needs a good cleaning.  Finding that some marks won't come off the stainless.
