Title: deleting new post
Post by: MaxBobcat on July 26, 2013, 08:29:52 AM
i'd like to be able to delete a new post.  other forums im a part of have this capability, as long as noone else has replied yet.

would have been handy for example yesterday when i posted about a new grill for sale on CL, then the CL post was taken down a minute later.  I had to edit my post saying it was down, when I wouldve preferred to just delete it altogether.

if this capability is already available, how do i access it?

I have disabled it.

You can edit the content out of the post, and then alert a moderator to delete it for you :)

Just because a post is removed from CL doesn't mean it is not interesting to us!

I particularly like to agonize over great deals I've missed.  :P

And if you've snagged the URL of any images that accompany the post, we can still ogle those for some time after the post is removed.  ;D
