Is there a map of club members/agents associated with the WKC? Something like http://www.zeemaps.com/map?group=490438&add=1 (http://www.zeemaps.com/map?group=490438&add=1)

Try this:

Very cool. How do you add yourself to this?
-
I think Mike Stavlund can help. I can't remember what I did to get on it. Mike?
-
I think you have to do it on the computer side. Then login with a google ID.
"my kettle is more powerful it will do almost anything."
-
Good stuff but the one I posted is more user friendly :(
-
Man I forget how creepy google maps are. Its a stalkers delight. :o
-
So how do we get on this esteemed list?
-
something like this maybe?

seems a bit more simmple rich...your right. Now how can we put this on this site for ease of use??
-
Can we do something with this Marty??? This map seems a lot easier to work with. And if we can keep it here somewhere I think that would be very cool. Just a thought.

I'll take a look at this. If its easier to use and more accessible I am all for it. I can also migrate the people from the other map over.
-
that would be very cool...I added Brian already. It seems a lot more user friendly.
Thanks pbe

I am inclined to say I like this map more. It's easy enough to use. But more importantly the flags are less prone to moving around and mucking it up.
I will move everyone from the old map to it in a bit (unless someone else wants to volunteer in exhange for kettle karma :) ). I will also point all the old links to this new maps. Thanks again for the suggestion.

i think i prefer the google maps.
the zeemaps uses googlemaps anyway, but the data is stored on zeemaps instead of google.
i trust google to stay around a long time.
i've never heard of zeemaps.
perhaps i can write an interface here for it. google maps API isn't hard.

I agree, Troy but google sucks at UI. I can rant for hours on how terrible it is across all their products. :p Perhaps there is a way to backup the coordinates and user easily? Let's take this offline.
-
It's not just UI that google sucks at, that is just the symptom of the underlying issue with a great many of their "products". The problem is that the vast majority of their non revenue products are all "80% done". Sometimes that comes off as UI. Other times, "stuff just don't work right".

Agreed, G$.

So what is the current thinking on this idea? Is there a final decision on which map is being used? Where do I find it?
