Title: A little inspiration
Post by: Hoprock on September 03, 2020, 07:33:33 AM
Good morning everyone. I was looking for something new on Netflix last night and came across this:

https://www.netflix.com/title/81292974

Talk about inspiration! I am two episodes in and cannot wait to fire up the Weber. With that in mind-Any tried and true brisket methods folks would recommend?  I will do some searching on here, but a nudge in the right direction would be appreciated.

Cheers!

I assume you'll be smoking brisket in a  22" kettle?
You can use the snake method, SnS or weber char baskets for low and slow brisket.

I prefer to keep the rub simple, 50/50 salt and fresh course ground black pepper.

Yes a 22". I found a pretty straightforward Snake method recipe from America's Test Kitchen. I figure I can start from there and adapt as needed.

Thanks for the links!
