Came across parts of a discarded gas assist performa on the weekend in Sydney thrown out on the kerb. They were all pretty messy and in bad shape but after cleaning up looks like original owner added a weber kettle gas conversion kit (after the gas assist probably failed).
Anyway pulled it down and then put it on kettle legs and wheels. Cleaned out the gas kit and tube and now have a working kettle dual gas and charcoal for free!
Just waiting for the chook drumsticks to defrost and then will give it a spin!

Transplanted these bits into a blue kettle instead and found a better dial
