Thunder, you know what was funny, when they first came out I told a friend that even though I didn't need one, I had to get it.

I really like it a lot. It will not take away the bigger one, just a nice complement.

I've been thinking of mounting one to it but I am afraid of it catching fire. And all the wood handles I have are unfinished so I don't want to grubby them up.

Here are mine.  Used to have a "Brian" handle on the big one but have since repurposed it.

I like mine very much, but as was said it will not replace the big one, but will be part of the team.

I am working with Brian to make that happen to mine.  You were at the meetup did you not score a few wood handles?

I love mine...  Great for the SJ and for starting the Mini-Ugly Drum Smoker as LightningBoldtz mentioned.   It's kind of like having multiple sizes of screwdrivers in the tool-box.   Mine hang on a nail in the garage ready for another burn.

Funny, I just looked at mine yesterday and thought, "Now how nice would these be with WOODEN handles?"   8)

i think i need to get one of these.  my boys cook on the "little" grills and i think this mini chimney would be perfect to use.  plus ....i think it would help most when needing small amounts for the slow cooks.

I just use my torch/weed burner. One propane canister lasts forever. I have never used a chimney. :-[

Well actually I bought mine to do the weeds that grow between the cement, but found out it worked well on my woodstove and then bbq. What I like about it is that it saves a step. Mine looks like this.

I'd be lying if I said I didn't want to try a weed burner. But I'm afraid of reenacting Yellowstone with my spruce trees right by the patio..

A weed burner at Crate and Barrel.  That would be hilarious.   Are you sure you don't mean Bait and Tackle ?

I just fill my chimney drop it on the performers burner and let her rip.  8) Sometimes, I add a little newspaper for good measure.   8) 8)

I just used my mini-chimney this morning to light some briquettes for a Minion method fire in my 18.5 WSM. It's also great for lighting some charcoal for the SJ or CGA. I've used the weed burner as well. My son has one but no chimney. It works well, but at some point that propane tank will go empty...
