Title: New to me Pat Pending

Hello! I just picked up a Red Pat Pending. It needs new wheels and probably a new wire triangle shelf. Will the new ones fit this one? I’ll probably put a new charcoal grate and cooking grate in it. I know this is likely a 69-70 model, but is there a way to tell for sure? Doesn’t look too bad. Definitely needs some cleaning. Not sure how long I’ll hold on to it. May end up selling it once I get it kinda restored.

Wheels look plastic. If so, 70-71. Congrats, nice score.

The triangle will clean up nicely and can be expensive to replace unless you have an extra from a scrapped grill. Keep that good plastic wheel in the pic. Depending on shipping I would trade you a set of good modern wheels for the one good one you have.

Looking closer, it's a 70. Plastic wheel with rubber tread. Try and find one and keep it original. Good Luck.
