Title: 18" Avacado Score
Post by: CBinCT on July 27, 2019, 04:23:13 PM: Hey Guys! I picked up a nice 18" Avacado, that was in terrific shape and from the guys mouth himself, the deal of the century at $30. This looked like it was barely used and it was taken care of very well, i'm looking forward to getting a chance to clean it up a bit and make it really shine.

Any experts on here know what year this was made? I'm thinking sometime in the 60's from the age guide. It has thumbscrews, wood handle, steel wheels with rubber treads, no "letter" or "pat pending" on the lid vent.

Next steps is a nice clean up and polish, then decide what to cook on it for a maiden voyage. I might have to try and find a recipe for a lamb gyro type dish, which would be fitting for the Mediterranean and of course my wife would love that (She didn't seem to understand why I needed another grill)
