Title: Briquettes going bad?
Post by: Foundry37 on July 14, 2019, 06:42:26 AM
I was gifted a bag of Royal Oak Ridged and they seem to have a hard time lighting.
Stupid question but can old charcoal go bad?
Bag was unopened dry and my friend said he bought it 6 months ago.

I don’t know. Probably moisture got to it at some point. Try storing in the garage off the floor for a couple weeks and try it out again.
