Very clean and functional mod

how big a hole did you have to drill? and what did you do to stabilize the bolt so it doesn't wobble around inside the leg?

I tapped a 5/16"-37 hole on the leg so the foot screws through it.

That is pretty neat! Did it make it a lot more stable and how does roll better?

is there enough material to avoid the bolt from wobbling and stripping the thread when the grill gets moved or bumped and such?

With the addition of the threaded crossbar, it's much more stiff and stable. The legs will not twist or move laterally. The crossbar also holds the triangle in place so it doesn't slide side to side through the 2 back legs. The larger wheels along with the use of shaft collars instead of cap nuts minimize wheel wobble and rolls more smoothly.

The stainless pipe has a 5/64" wall so the likelihood the threads will strip is very low. If it ever does fail, i can always use JB weld etc. (https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20190624/4031feeb90a8f52f50f889bdbcb6aeb5.jpg)

Those are mixing paddle. They're available at Amazon, walmart etc. Got them at a local restaurant supply store. Prices will vary depending where you source them. They were $24 each for the 5' but i have a discount so ended paying $30 for the pair. Much longer than needed but it's all they had in stock.
