Happy Friday to all,
Looking for some inside dimensions on various gasser frames. So far the weber silver a and b are to small for what I need. My project is to salvage an old frame and mount my 18 inch charcoal inside the frame. I then want to use a product like this. https://www.homedepot.com/p/MSI-Giallo-Fantasia-18-in-x-31-in-Polished-Granite-Floor-and-Wall-Tile-7-75-sq-ft-case-TGCGIAFAN1831/202194697?MERCH=REC-_-PIPHorizontal2_rr-_-202194688-_-202194697-_-N to but up to the mounted charcoal grill giving me a nice work surface and an 18 inch homemade "Performer".
Thanks,
Jack

Even the big Gennies are too narrow for an 18. Center to center between the rails on the Gennie are 16 3/4". You need 19 3/8" for a 18.5 kettle, unless you want it sitting sky high. Couple ways to do it though, here's one way:

A Smokey Joe however...

@56MPG . Sorry found the info from the link.

@56MPG . What frame was your mockup from? I really like it. Little jb weld first then nuts and bolts.

One of the three-burner models - probably a 1000. They all share the same rail centers, it's the length that varied from model to model.
