Title: Ceramic Briquettes for Extra Heat
Post by: BertVentures on September 22, 2018, 05:18:36 AM
My pizzas baked in my gas grill last week with the Mighty Pizza Stone loved the extra heat from these cheap ceramic briquetes I got form lowes. KABF, ADY, 2% Sugar, 63% water , 2%EVOO, 2.5% Salt. average bake time 2 to 3 minutes, 5 burners on high.

Here's charcoal grill version that I want to try next, it required modifying a cheap cooking grate and 6" bolts. I probably need to add skirt around the briquettes to prevent them from falling.

Great idea, @BertVentures !  Nice looking pies.

I like your kettle set-up.
Curious about how you set-up the charcoal below?  Thanks for sharing.

A month back, with two Mighty Pizza Stones on my gas grill I made over 12 Zaatar and Cheese pizzas in less than an hour.

You guys are killing me. I can deal with the brisket pics. They look mighty good but I've cooked plenty of brisket in my life. What is blowing my mind is the pizzas on here! Unreal! I have no idea how to make a pizza.
