Finally got around to cooking on my newly acquired 26 and the S&S XL. Loved all the room and everything turn d out really good.
Wondering if anyone has any insight on the EasySpin grate. It is a little annoying how the stock grate catches on the tabs if you try to spin it, although it looks like I could grind down the handles a bit to alleviate that. I think the bigger benefit is the S&S sized flip up opening. Anyone have thoughts / opinions?

I use John Henry's pecan rub. It's got a slight sweetness that most of the family likes and it gives it some really nice color. But then I usually use something spicier to dip for myself.

I hate how the grate catches on a spin too. I like your idea on grinding it down a little. Never considered it much. The cost of the easy spin grate just didn’t seem worth it for me. I mean, we’ve got like 30 flippin grates laying around already...
