anyone know where i can find one?
transitioning from 2 performers to a single 26 has been difficult - i think some small table space could help

Our mighty leader is selling off his Performers??!!?? This is tragic. I think we should have some kind of candlelight vigil for Troy's lost grills. Or maybe everyone could light up an empty Performer as a kind of Memorial Day tribute.

Why ? The performer is a more well designed elegant solution. Try rolling a kettle with the side table attached. ::) The side tables are such an after thought design. I could use a couple other Non-PC terms to describe them. Duct tape and super glue come to mind. Sorry, just my opinion.

Gummi, I would F'in LOVE a table like that. I've been looking for 2 years now, can't find one :(
As for the performers, I only sold one. I miss it dearly. The red stainless is in the garage. I'm reluctant to put it on my back patio at the moment. I need to sand and stain the patio soon, plus I am really trying to move.

My 2 cents........... For me, I would much rather have one 26er than two performers. On the table I would rather have one I could remove when I want than having it permanently attached because when you have multiple grills they can become difficult to store. My suggestion is that you buy a fold out if you can't find time to make one since they are really easy to store. You can also look for a table someones getting rid of and modify it to fit your needs. I might be making a table like the one Gummi posted, but it will be wider for the 26'r and will still fit my 22 if I ever need it for that. By the way, the performers never had enough room for me compared to my rolling weber table I made from a gasser. That was really roomy and nice to have and it worked with all of my different grills. So If you find a cheap gasser grab it.

I would also freaking love one of the tables made from an old gasser. Those are badass.
I'm not handy enough to make one though. :(

You couold easily make a table from a gasser. It would take you no time at all.
It could even be made from an old performer cart.
Hey Brian, help this guy out, please!
If you get a free craigslist gasser, all you need are a few tools and a decent drill.
Gut the grill of all its parts. Run over to your local metal shop. Have them cut a piece of wahtever metal you want or can afford. Aluminun is the cheapest. Have them cut to size.
Attach the metal to the top with some self tapping screws. Use something that won't rust. Stainless comes to mind. Easy enough.. Don't overthink it. When you move, leave it behind, cause it didn't cost too much to make.
Besides, weren't you one of the guys who is building bar stools?
Do I need to send you my hammock, cause you got more excuses than I do!

Or 1972. I've got one of these. It's my favorite accessory. They work with the old 18s, 22s, and 26's. I'd love to find the laminate/formica version of this table from the 50s-60s.

O.K. help me, have a table that came with my 26" flat top. But it different than the ones I see posted. I think we have aged the kettle from 65-69(Pat# Pending). Not sure about the rest of you who own one, but this won was outdoors to long. I have used lemon oil on it, but it is laminated and the glue in some spots has let go... :(

GL I think yours is one of the later wood tables. If memory serves, the table was made until around 1977. Mine that I got from Stu is an older one from the early 1970s and has the tool hooks like Lawrence's (Gummie) and has the towel ring. Does yours have the towel ring?

Yes, it has the towel ring. The story from the owner is he purchased it with the grill. He bought it directly from a Weber Rep. Apparrently, what I was told, they where like the Watkins saleman, but they stopped at the local watering holes...The owner of the grill, bought it in the bar parking lot.I made the legs, because his kids used them for wiffle ball bats, back in the day.
