100% Genuine Weber GBS cooking grate for 18” / 47cm kettles.
I am NOT taking orders !!!
I just want to get an idea of how many people would commit to buying them and how many you would want.
Right now the price is €69 / $80 [emoji15] without any shipping to USA !
If I can get a good number of people that would want to order them I can hit Weber up with that figure and put the BIG Squeeze on them to get them way cheaper!
Because of the weight of a GBS grate I think the best thing to do would be ship X number of them to 1-3 locations in the states and then have them sent out from there ? ( Troy? Or some other major player gets 6-8 and helps get them to other people? ) That’s the idea.. no idea if it could work out.
Anyways... let’s make a list.. CUT & PASTE and add YOUR Name!

As far as I know.. there was never a 18” / 47cm GBS grate made by Weber in Stainless Steel ?
This Chrome grate is only used in the Euro “Kettle Plus” and never offered in SS.

Sorry :-( Fake News from Weber Holland.
I called and talked to customer service here and the lady told me.. “yes they are in stock and the # I gave them was good. You will have to contact a big dealer to order them as it is not listed on the site.”
I did my job and contacted a big dealer here that I know and asked for a deal price on 6-10 of them. He called me back in 20 mins and said that Weber won’t sell them as reserve parts yet and we still have to wait!

5 members stepped up and showed interest in them asking for a total of 7 but they just won’t sell them as of now.
Maybe I can call again this week and beg for them in the name of the kettle club ?
I’m trying guys... I’m just not getting far with this :-( Sorry!

Here is the last update on this grate:
I called Weber here in The Netherlands and asked if the part # was good and I asked if they are in stock .. they said yes to everything and then told me that I had to order them from a larger Weber dealer here.
So I called one of the biggest dealers here.. I know them pretty good ;-).. and I tried to order them and asked for a bulk price on 10 of them.
Then... Weber told the shop that they still won’t sell the item as a replacement part because they have to keep them in stock for warranty replacements.
I’m starting to think this is going nowhere real fast :-(
I’m sorry if I got anyone’s hope up... I tried.. really I did.. but they won’t work with me on this. They say I have to wait another year before I can order it.
I also want to thank @RickyD for the part # for the stainless steel version..
