Looks awesome.  I love a good DIY.  There should be a DIY or Tightwad Appreciation Society section.  Just got done joining the charcoal baskets together to make on large one a few nights ago and cant wait to try it out.

I made mine a XL, it holds 90 weber briquettes and 5 cups of water. The only cook I’ve done so far with it was a brisket. 16 hours or so and had plenty of coals left and about half of the water.
