My first Fixer Upper investment. She is going to clean up nice.

That looks sharp!!! Swap in the black catch from the Gen.2 & that'll compliment the metal table quite nicely (imo)

Looks sweet! I almost switched my Red SSP to Green Gen2 or Blue Gen3.... but I decided to keep Red SSP as is and play around with my Gen2 and 3 instead. Both of my Gen2 and 3 now have custom made SS tables and few other touches to make it my own. :) :) ;)

Wow! That is exactly what I want to build. Gen 2 frame, metal table, and red bowl and lid. Finding the red bowl and lid is they hard part!

Thanks. I like it even more in Red.. Still need to swap in the wider lid bale and black ash can.
The SSP frame was really nice and rust free. It went fast at $125 which was what I paid for the Red SSP. I swapped in my black kettle into the SSP frame and kept it gas assist.
So I got a FREE red Performer kettle upgrade.

Wider lid bail and black ash can installed. From Black to Red, It's amazing what a simple color change can do. Now I need to cook something to stare at it more. It's so beautiful.

I have been wanting to do that to my 95 red SSP. I have a black 2007 Gen 2 performer to do the swap with. I may just do it after seeing yours.
