Searching the interwebs using a Weber part number, I came across this place. Curious, I looked at all the Weber products they sell. Back when I was planning & modding my WSM, the talk of using Ranch Kettle handles kept popping up. If Weber even sold them to you, they were pretty pricey. Are these the same handles for only $3.37? A little late to "call to check stock" but...

The handles on mine (2005) have screws. It looks from the pics the new RK have riveted handles. I gave seen several sites that list the RK handle kit as being out of stock or unavailable.

I think these are differnet than the old handles. I don't think you can put old style wood on these newer style handle.

I guess I was wrong - the new ones have screws as well, but as HJ said the seem more curved as compared with the old style. I can take some pics of mine and post them tomorrow.

What is that black thumbscrew thing for?

I'm thinking its some kind of tool to install the nuts.. OK, don't say it.. 8)

Ah, I see. The new style handles look nothing like the wood version. Looks cheaper/flimsier too...

I think the timber ones will fit

I'm not a fan of these newer handle designs.. I prefer the Classic design.. Just my opionon.
The wood handle helps for sure. 8)

As I said if people need stuff and they are gonna be at the June Chicago meetup let me know now....
-
Yeah I'm not a huge fan of the handle design either
I guess the SS I can live with but I don't like the screw on design it looks a bit cheap and takes away from the original design
Couldn't imagine it would be that much more cost effective than having the handle welded on in the factory

Here is a pic of handle on a 2005 RK.
I think these were the ones that folks used to attach to the WSM.

Brian, can you whip up some of these brackets? I think they would be quite popular!
