"What are these?  That looks like bacon around bananas or something?"

Honestly delicious and is a crowd pleaser.  One package of bacon, one bunch of bananas, coals in the center vortex style.  No flipping.

Yes, yes and yes.
How long do they go for at that high heat?
Can the bacon get crispy before the banana gets mushy?
Drizzle of honey or caramel? Endless possibilities.
Totally trying this! Great job!

It took about 20 minutes but your mileage may vary.  My secret equation is one piece of strip of standard bacon cut into four strips wraps four banana chunks 0.5-0.75" wide.

Definitely trying this. Maybe a drizzle of melted peanut butter to finish off Elvis style.

One thing that is neat about these is that the bananas don't turn to mush.  The sugars kind of caramelize and brown a bit.  Side Note:  There's a sandwich at Iron Barley here in St. Louis called the Ballistic Elvis.  Peanut, butter, bacon, bananas, raspberry jalapeño jelly on toasted bread.  It's really frickin good if any makes it down there.
