Title: Early 60s Weber Ambassador
Post by: fedex on July 20, 2016, 07:34:07 PM: Saw this online the other day listed as a yellow Weber. The color is actually Ochre sort of the same shade of yellow as the Homer Simpson grill. Big Thanks to @harris92 for all the info.

Didn't (couldn't) get any back story because the seller was very challenged with the English language. I did understand though that it was in his papa garage for years. Thanks for looking.

If one was known already, who might have one, how many years they made it, the hue of Yellow used....all sorts of shit. The triple spin marks up the side of the lid are uber-cool.

I thought it would be 1963 too, but look at this. They are MLH.

So could we assume that it was 65 or 67 or 69 1 year production. According to old Weber Catalog, 64,66,68 did not offer the Ambassador yellow ochre.

I know. Hopefully this weekend I can get some better pics. It's the first time I've seen rings on a 22. My flat top 26 rings were awesome.

Kettle is sitting in the garage. Working on restoring the correct wheels and nut cap should be done with those in a couple days. Triangle and Legs are next. If all goes ok should have pics this weekend.
