Title: What entails a Sears weber?
Post by: Vwbuggin64 on July 16, 2016, 01:33:30 AM
So I am going to pick up another weber tomorrow. It has the 3 daisy wheel vents, a basic triangle, black wheels and only 1 handle on the bowl. Is this considered a basic weber from Sears? Or is this just a cheaper weber? I cant post pics yet until I get home from work. I love overnights.

Sounds like a Barbie Kettle - er...Bar B Kettle. Weber stripped down a few models like you said. I had one. Check the finish on the handles, mine were bare.

Not necessarily Sears, or Kmart. Think of them as "racing" kettles; everything you need, nothing you don't. The handles looks like they were doing burn outs.

I picked it up. The handles were toast so I had some plastic ones that I'm going to use (I painted them to match the grill). It's an ER code (1996) and let's just say it needs some surgery (ha ha get ER, surgery...sigh never mind). I'll post before and after pics tomorrow, it's 100% disassembled right now.
