Title: My 2nd redhead... $25 ta boot!
Post by: varekai on June 28, 2016, 08:19:46 PM
So this is the red kettle I went to pick up after tearing in to my Frankengasser project and cooking dinner yesterday... She has a tweaked lid, a little crazing and bent handle. But nothing was froze up, sweep swept, one I cleaned the grease build up off, lit a chimney load, burned off the rest and went right into cooking some chicken breasts... I think I'll keep her!!! question though, whats with the handles, homemade? I have never seen that style on any of the others I've seen here.

Nice red, congrats!! Definitely homemade handles. Few mallet taps'll bring that top one back. Love that color change!

varekai, You can find some really nice old school style wood WKC handles here http://weberkettleclub.com/weber-handles/ that help support this site.
Or you could also ask zavod44 if he has any handles in stock,, He has produced some truly amazing handles over the years..
