Has anyone ever seen a picture of a person cooking on an original? Does one exsist?  ???

Has anyone here ever seen a weber garden light? ???

Maybe the Garden Lites were made by the Metal Works side of the company and they used the Kettle Dispaly as an oppurtunity for marketing.
But no, I have never seen one.. I know I want 1 or 50 if they ever come around my way! Lol

PS, I want one of those "Covered Barbecuing" aprons. All white with a black kettle, just awesome.
And yes that mob of old guys, they were the original "Grillfellas"

Okay fellas lets get our "Zapruder" on here.
In the trade show shot the big Ranch lid on the left looks like the vent holes are almost oblong, what do y'all think?
Also in the trade show shot I guess that was pre rotisserie ring with the clamp on no lid rotisserie set up?
In the shot with the one lady what is that squarish raised thing in the middle of all that chicken? Also, is that a Weber side table attached to it?
In the big outdoor group of guys shot it looks like both of the Ranches have rotisserie rings on them, has anyone ever seen one for sale to the public?
Finally just a observation, in the "Scotsman" photo those kettles have very narrow tread on their wheels.

The trade show shot looks like an early "in between" kettle behind the roti. Modern design, flatter lid. I'm guessing the group shot is a training class of early Weber Roadies. Back when salesmen dressed up! Whether they sold vacuums, golf clubs, or Weber kettles.

I think so. You could spit a small pig if you had that!

"Weber Roadies" That's the new name for the reality show. Just think what we would find. In fact! That gives me an idea. I think we need a contact where people who have old webers could have them appraised by us. Who knows what we'll find! :o

With all the research I've been doing on kettle history, I feel that if we did "Weber Roadies" I'd be like that guy from Pawn Stars with the flat brim hat and the long white beard that Rick always calls in. :-D

It's the guys that are wearing the browline glasses....something about that style of glasses that make people look angry or creepy. Having said that, the more I glance at the fabulous five '50s style kettles in front of them, the more I want one.  ;)  I'll bet they have red or white metal rims on the wheels.

Golly, I think the garden light is right above the Ranch lid in the trade show pic. I'm guessing the guy sitting to the right, is George Stephen.
