Title: No compact Chimney Starters (7447) on Amazon?
Post by: Saugust on May 07, 2015, 07:20:34 PM: I want to get a few accessories, throw a few cents at the WKC, and use my prime membership. But I can't find a 7447 Compact Rapidfire Charcoal Chimney on Amazon that isn't like $50. What's the deal?

Unfortunately none of those have the prime free shipping and most of the shipping makes those like $50 too. Thank for the look though. I'm going to try to snag one locally. It looks lie HD has them online too.

I do this for when I light a Minion. I place a starter cube on an empty upside down 16 ounce beer can. Then place the upside-down chimney with 6-8 brickets ontop of that.

Amazon is likely just out of stock, they move more product than most.

I suppose its still possible that weber discontinued it mid-season, but probably not.

Either way, I'm glad I have one. I use it more than the full sized.
Heck, i use my mini chimney when grilling with my 26r

I don't use paper...I use a propane weed burner.
