Brian got his hands on the first Deluxe Performer and has given it a detailed review.
Check it out!
2015 Weber Performer Deluxe Review (http://weberkettleclub.com/blog/2014/10/15/2015-weber-performer-deluxe-review/)

Thanks Brian!

Great review. And that handle is sweeeet!
-
Awesome! I really like the lid bale feature. I always just take the whole lid off. Ash bucket features are nice too.
-
Can we order the new bale, rollers and other parts to attach it to our SS Performers?

When i ordered my lid bail just prior to Oct the Weber rep said the part # would stay the same, but couldn't say when they would be available, i would think they would have to exhaust current invitory first before sending out the new bail, unless you had the new Performer.

Awesome write up Brian. Looks like a sweet setup. Now lets get someone to make up a SS top
-
Nice! I want the bale system for my 2013. BTW, my "AT" has the battery operated igniter.
-
where have i seen this grill before?
:o

Brian told me to add a thank you note to you, but I forgot. Sorry and thank you!

Thanks Brian and Greg S 8)

Nice write up Brian, thanks!!! I like the handle without the heat shield!!
-
Wow! Nice write up and nice grill!
-
This was nice. Thanks Brian and Greg!
-
Very nice write up and it looks like another sign of Weberitis is pining away waiting for reviews and studying the changes in new Weber models like some people do with sports cars and such
-
Awesome review! I can't wait to get my Performer! Although, it'll be a little easier to wait now since I just talked my wife into letting me get an 18.5" Silver One-Touch to hold me over in the meantime :D
-
Any chance Brian can test fit the new lid bale setup on an older SS performer like he did for the tabletop?

Great write up!

Thanks for the info Brian. Wish you many happy memories around that grill!

I believe they can be retrofitted to the older performers.....
-
I actually think this table is nicer than the stainless....the stainless is a lot of work to take care of and it can get scratched up. I think this table will wear very nicely. I suppose you can always polish out stainless, but this is very nice. It will serve me very well. The only question I have now is do I put my sage back in this cart and have a new for 2015 Sage performer.....
-
copper was so 2014, sage is where it's at. ;)
-
@zavod44 As cool as the copper is, the sage would look killer in that new table..
-
Actually, I could replace it with, a red, a blue a sage or a dark green....
-
Thanks for the review.
BETTER than the SSP? Heresy! ;)
Only improvement, imo, is the bale. 8)

you need to change them with your mood.
call it the mood kettle. ;)

The awkward handle in the middle of the stainless steel performer table knocks it down a few notches. Plus those old stainless carts rot real bad. These new carts will last much longer.

The handles on my SSPs are conveniently offset, leaving me plenty of workspace. ;) If in my way, I'd remove them.
Weak frames are easily shored-up w/ some out-of-sight L brackets. I don't move mine around too much, but I do like the handles that are included for that purpose. (That reminds me....after seeing footage of one of those annual "Carry-the-Wife" races, I think Weber should sponsor something similar, w/ the wife sitting in the bowl of an SSP instead of hanging over hubby's shoulder).
The SSP gas tank is cool and environmentally sound. 8)
SSPs are the best-looking grill+table product Weber's ever made....imHo.
Naturally, ymmv. :)

So your saying Brian that the new Performer is the best and the SS is now a close second? The new one looks like the best of both worlds.
-
nice review brian!
-
Nice review, thanks Brian. Now I want one.
-
I wonder if/when we could buy the new table and swap out the table on our older performers. Same for the lid bale. With those two changes, an older performer would be nicely ugraded, yes?
-
Brian showed a picture, these changes can be done to the older ones.

Any guess on when the parts might become available?

Time will only tell.

Awesome review Brian, you should get Statesman status with a write up like that.......oh wait you already are😃
-
Top review Brian, hope we get the copper ones down here.

Great review! Been fortunate to cook on a few new Performers in the past couple months. The starter/ignition system is immediate. Like!
