Title: Stuffed Jalapenos for lunch
Post by: Kilted_Griller on November 18, 2012, 03:45:41 PM
My lovely bride comes home with a bag of jalapenos that our friend grew and said, and I quote, "you know what to do with these". Since I wasn't in trouble I knew she didn't mean stick them where the sun doesn't shine, so here's what they became...
the fillings...sage sausage and cream cheese on the left and beef chorizo and extra sharp cheddar cheese on the right...

Stuffed, covered with bacon and ready to go on the grill...(http://i1145.photobucket.com/albums/o506/vinojunkies/Intherack.jpg)
the grill setup...

after and hour and a half at 200 degrees...lets eat!

I dont have an official name for these. Suggestions will be welcomed.

Thanks, Tim! Morgan Kelly (my daughter) deserves the credit. She ran with the plan and made it happen.
