I'm originally from south Texas where those black cans of Ranch Stlye Beans run rampant. I remember when they were 4/1.00 :o :o :o.
I love the taste of them, but would love to make them myself.
Anyone ever made this style of beans before? Hace a recipe?

Those are on my list now. I can't tell you how many times I passed by those and never tried them. I think the black eyed peas and bacon sound great.
Yup they are really good. I just wanted to try them homemade.
I've never had any homemade ones just like them but I did recently pick up a 8 pack of them at Sams club.

I think Walmart carries them here, can't remember. They really have a distinct flavor.
