My take on 40 cloves and a chicken. I used chicken thighs and seasoned the chicken with Knox's Yummmy Chicken Seasoning.
Thighs direct to get a little color on them.

Great looking grub John and right on time! It's a funny thing. I was thinking of asking you to make this signature dish of yours because I have a boatload of gahlic to go through. So I should be copying it this week somethime. I just hope it comes out half as good as yours. I am also planning a paella this week for the other half of my leftover garlic.
Awesome cocina too! ;)
Fantastic looking meal!! Time for me to invest in a cast iron skillet!

I've always wanted to try the 40 cloves of garlic recipe...is the garlic overwhelming or mello from the cooking?
The garlic really mellows out and even has a kind of sweet taste to it. If you like garlic you will love this dish.
Vermin where did you get your Wok at, I have been looking for one for months now.
It looks like a cast iron wok...very nice! I just ordered one today from the Wok Shop, 14" carbon steal. Looking forward to using it with my chimney starter.
my wok is carbon steel too and I also got mine from the Wok Shop.
Carbon steel is the way to go. I am planning on getting a discada because I think the shape will work better for me.
Vermin...thats an awesome looking plate! You would think the garlic would be overwhelming...but it was mild huh? Id also like to see more pics of your cooking area!
I made this last night and it was great! Thanks for the recipe John. The misses who isn't a big chicken fan said it was some of the best chicken I've ever made. She liked it cause it was simple flavors not tangy, spicy, or sweet. Thanks for sharing the recipe.
I'm gonna start using some of my cast iron skillets on my grill. TODAY! I have seen a few of the cooks on this forum using the cast iron skillets. I have 2 I use when I'm camping, and we have a large one for the fried chicken, but I think today I'm gonna see which one fits in the weber and use it today. ;D
Oh, and the chicken looked AWESOME!
the chicken looks fantastic!
