Asking $50 for both BTW.
Interesting wheels. Interesting vent position. I wish I had xray vision to see inside the kettle.

Interesting vent position.
I saw that too, but think it's an optical dillusion(pun intended) created by the light colored reflection on the lid.
Yeah, thats a HC or Kenmore branded kettle. The vent is in the wrong place, HC plastic handles, and the legs look like steel. If the ashpan is intact, it's worth the haul. Just sell the rest of it off if you don't need it.
That looks just like my old Charbroil kettle did. No internal ash pan, it had a coal basket instead of a grate.
JC, are the wheels the same as yours? I agree in that I do not think this one is a HC.
Hmm, good point guys. The vent doesn't look like a HC vent now that I think about it.
Here is a pic of the old girl...

Wheels/vents/ash pan all look the same to me!
Great. Now I miss her...:-
Something is wrong. the lid is too tall

the 'something' being it is a char broil. :P
Char Broil was in the kettle mocking business!? I thought they poo-poo'd George's kettle at the outset..

Yup. Here is a handle shot for example from JC's old one:

While definitely a copycat, there were some differences.
The vent holes were all smaller and the internal volume was larger so it did not breathe as well when going for hot/fast. Low/slow wasn't bad though...
At least 2" more clearance between the charcoal grate and the cooking grate.
I have never seen a Happy Cooker in person, but from pics that I see on this forum I think the Charbroil was a better kettle.
Still, I gladly traded it for a Weber! ;D
I don't have a HC kettle ... However, I do have a HC lid on my UDS.
Ken (1buckie) sent it to me two years ago. What a great guy! :D
