I did some ribs and cilantro lime corn but was too photo impared to be able to share.  A buddy did some pretty good chipotle wings...again photo impared so it didn't happen.  However, I can prove I did whip up some scotch eggs early one weekend AM.  I saw Larry do that and I just had to try.  The neighbor camper and I enjoyed them.

Also did some pizzas after the races each night Fri, Sat, and Sun. This is the in-the-daylight practice run:

Threw some " see through" pork chops on the Smokey Joe Platinum, corn on the bob and green beans, nothing fancy, had to work today.

Garlic Shrimp Tostadas

Marinated in garlic and parsley

Cooked

(http://img266.imageshack.us/img266/9248/045le.jpg) (http://img266.imageshack.us/i/045le.jpg/)

Baked these on the grill with fresh tostada shells with refritos and jack.

(http://img163.imageshack.us/img163/920/048sr.jpg) (http://img163.imageshack.us/i/048sr.jpg/)

Ready to assemble. All of the usual condiments were present. Fresh red salsa, chopped cilantro, chopped spanish onions, lettuce, and fresh avacado sauce. I also always keep some orange sauce handy. I had some left over from the burrito place the other day and my favorite over the counter condiment Sarayo sauce.

Ready to inhale. I ate three of these. :D

Hope your Labor Day was a smokey one! 8)

Thanks for the compliments Larry and Vermin,

I know you are both serious cooks and Vermins the man when it comes to mexican cuisine so I count it as a double honor. :)

I may have to fix Scotch eggs for our "Monday morning meeting" at work now that I've got the Performer up here. I need to know more about that Bama Bob pie too, did you put a lid on the skillet or just let it run around topless? Duke, what grill did you fix those tostadas on? Never tried the fresh ones ones before, take long to bake them up?  Questions, I've got questions, well, not about the Obama pizza though, ugh  I'm sure once someone notices how much fun we're having grilling they'll start squawking about trees being killed to make charcoal or too much red meat being cooked over it  ::)

Eastex, I used my Que Cart since it was parked out front with a full tank. ;) The tostada shells were fresh made at the mexican market where I picked up the salsa. They taste a lot better than the regular ones I am used to. It was the first time I saw them. They also make red chipotle tortillas and green ones, I forget what the greenies were. Cilantro I think.

I forgot to share my ribs.

(http://img515.imageshack.us/img515/6938/039rt.jpg) (http://img515.imageshack.us/i/039rt.jpg/)

Looky all that smoke wood! :o

(It's a red oak & peach mix)

(http://img571.imageshack.us/img571/4914/040ix.jpg) (http://img571.imageshack.us/i/040ix.jpg/)

Good, but oversmoked. ::)

These were actually ready to eat and didn't need the foil step, but I did it anyways. Next time I am going to just pull them when they look like this.

(http://img26.imageshack.us/img26/3699/041us.jpg) (http://img26.imageshack.us/i/041us.jpg/)

I also did a coupla deli style pies.

(http://img17.imageshack.us/img17/2724/010wf.jpg) (http://img17.imageshack.us/i/010wf.jpg/)

(http://img831.imageshack.us/img831/4069/021rh.jpg) (http://img831.imageshack.us/i/021rh.jpg/)

And some albacore. You could easily mistake this for a porkchop. ;)
