Hey there fellas.
It's been a while since I've been active do mainly to my wife's health. She is doing great it's just a long recovery and a lot of Doctor appointments. None the less I'm still a Weberhead at heart so I have been working a deal to get a 18.5 smoker from a member and although it took a while, the wait was well worth it.

This is from the first day I got it. Now mind you I had just got off the phone with Weber about two good dings that the top of the middle section had taken. The very sweet woman said that they would get a new mid section out right away

I got the smoker on 8/20 and today at noon (boy that was fast!) I got the new middle with an extra upgrade!!!!

Hope your wife is doing well Bob. Is that a hole for a probe on the middle section? Just like the new 14.5...

Hope your wife is doing better, Bob. I'm sure the smoked food and your care will speed her recovery. How does that plug work?

Thanks guys. like I said the wife is doing very well she just keep me as busy as she can. the silicone grommet works like a charm! Very cool no more hole drilling.

Glad u can make some time for grilling and wkc. I hope that your wife continues to recover well. Having gone thru two surgeries like that with a friend, I know how long it takes to get your strength back.
