Title: MT question
Post by: Ken Mc on August 01, 2013, 08:37:46 AM
O.K. so I have rebuilt my second MT with the same occurring problem. The first time I did my red head, I thought it was just me.Now I just finished a blue MT and the same problem........Tilted ! As if the front legs on the original MT are a bit shorter than the front legs that they sell now. Any one else have their MT slope back as if the front leg was too long????
If so, about how much to cut of the legs to make level, just off the top of your head??

Just did an MT rebuild with a new leg set and no problem all is level. Are you sure the legs are fully seated to the bottom of the socket?

I did though put one of those coleman caps on it instead of black one that came with the kit, and it seems alright now...hmmmmmm

If you wish, I can measure the original legs on my MT.

Good. I wasn't sure if you were confident that the legs on it when you got it were original. I bought mine new so I know the legs are original.
