Title: Ribs on 22" Weber Kettle
Post by: DrizzyBBQ on June 26, 2026, 02:36:48 AM
Any thoughts on how to cook 2-3 racks on my 22" kettle using the slow n sear set up?  Was looking at the rib rack, was curious how it would impact the bark and color.  Anyone use the rib rack and love it or hate it?  Thanks!!

Thinking that using the rib rack would be the only way to fit them.  Might just need to rotate them a few times for even cooking.  I say go for it!

Cheers

I bought one of these (https://www.amazon.com/Elevated-Cooking-Grate-Stainless-Steel/dp/B07N97ZNNQ/ref=sr_1_2?sr=8-2) a while ago.

I haven't tried it with ribs, but I think it should work.

I'm probably too late to the party, but;

Are we talking about St Louis cut or back ribs?
St Louis can be rolled into a circle and secured with a wooden skewer, stand them on end so the bones are vertical.
This allows you to get more ribs on a smaller indirect area.
