Title: Poor mans 7445 table
Post by: Tommie on April 20, 2026, 10:13:40 PM
Seeing as I know of only one unicorn table here in the UK that my friend owns, I thought I'd make my own outta a cheap camping table and some sheet aluminium (cut to size and just jigsaw for the grooves). I've filled the hollow legs with sand just for some extra down weight

Was considering adding some sliding locks underneath too, not sure it needs it.

Still, If anyone has a spare 7445 that they want to send to the UK I'll arrange collection (long shot I know!)

Cheers

Creative!  Love my Weber version, so many people would buy them if Weber decided to try again with them.

I know right? You never know! May surprise us, I never thought I'd see a hybrid of the SJ like what was released recently.

I did actually email Onlyfire about the 7445 table idea and they genuinely seemed quite interested in a similar concept...

Nice job! I like the way that table folds up. Really compact to travel. There are a lot of accessories that Weber made over the years that they have discontinued and should be brought back. Times change and what was old is new again for another generation.

Thanks man! As Greg says they'd sell like hotcakes I reckon if they came back, the popularity for them on the Facebook community alone would make it worth their while
