Title: Rib Holder Rack
Post by: Cabernet on March 01, 2026, 08:20:57 AM
Good day all,
A buddy of mine gave me a stainless steal rib rack. Its been sitting in the garage for a number of years and every time I see it I always say "next time " well, still not used. Does anybody use the rack? I've always smoked them on the grill . Any tips using the rack or is it just another BBQ gadget?
Cheers and have a great day

I just did 3 racks of baby backs a couple weeks ago. Started with the rib rack I have and ditched it after 15 minutes, as the ribs were too close together and actually touching on the ends. Ended up just laying them flat (on my 26) and going from there. Rack was a PITA to clean, even though I sprayed with Pam before starting. I used the snake method and just rotated the grate during smoke. Ribs were delicious!
