Title: Another badge refurb thread

My pizza oven came with a nasty badge, covered in chrome plating which was mostly peeled off.

Some came off easy with ol' faithful scraper, the rest was very stubborn and took me quite a few episodes of stranger things while sanding to get off

Anyway, we're back to bare metal now, so I'll lacquer it at some point as it's aluminium, but happy with the results!

Nice job! Wish I could find one of those pizza ovens. They look like they should work really well. I have the Onlyfire one that fits the 22 kettle and it works really well.

I still need a lot more practice with pizza, not quite nailed it yet!

Cheers. I think Weber may have learner not to use chrome plating again, I've got a few modern badges that are stainless steel which would have been a heck of a lot easier to refurb! May throw some "pies" on tonight

Nice job! Personally, I miss the inverted black background logo badges that Weber used to use (I think they started going with chrome badges on grills around 2007ish?)
