Happy Thanksgiving to all in the US. Living in Canada, I was looking forward to all your pics of your cooks but haven't seen any.
Cheers

We opted to do our boneless turkey breast in the oven this year. In fact, I only smoked a turkey once, and it was back in 2020. Here are a couple of pictures of that cook.....
Turkey breast, just the 2 of us & Neither likes dark meat.
Brined overnight & roti'd while basting with butter.
Tip. Freeze a stick of butter with the paper wrap peeled back about 1/2 way.
To baste remove from freezer & use the end to "paint the skin" with butter which melts from just the end. Return to freezer. Repeat as needed.
Dizzy bird on the rotisserie and using the Thermoworks RFX. Apple wood chunks for a light, sweet smoke. Smaller bird (15 lbs) than usual as we only had 3 for Thanksgiving.
Grate look all. I like the frozen butter trick by Stoneage.
Cheers

I cooked a small turkey on my Summit Kamado.
Deconstructed, dry-brined overnight, lightly seasoned, 325deg. It turned out great!
I can't post pictures anymore, so I don't bother taking any.
Did our turkey on the rotisserie on the 26 Glen Blue. Cold and windy day but was still done in just a couple of hours. No photos but it turned out great!
The turkeys look and sound great! I didn't cook this year - we had a mexican fiesta at the in-laws that was really good. I did tend bar and was in charge of the margaritas. ;)
The rule when you tend bar is... 1 for you , 1 for me

Haha, yes! I did it easy - pitchers of margaritas so no one was keeping up with how much we drank. Made 3 pitchers and we didn't quite finish the last one. When my father in law said, "When we run out of margarita mix we can just shoot tequila!" That's when we officially put the booze away lol....
For Thanksgiving I smoked a Turkey Breast and grilled a Tri-Tip.
