I scored an E code NIB CGA and am considering getting a custom color... What color would you get?
Cheers!
Yellow or plum for me

I'd say either yellow or brown. Either one needs a fade line.
Now I'm wondering about yellow with a brown "ring".
I gotta go red
A red mist would be awesome

Deep ocean blue or (Stok Drum Kettle) orange.
Avocado with a fade

I had Jeff do a red, a glen blue and an avocado cga for me. All look great but I prefer the avocado.
All great answers, thanks for your insight! Waiting to hear back from IPE for cost.... Leaning toward Glen Blue or Yellow.

Question about top vents after the refinish.... did you rivet or go with SS bolts, nuts and washers? I'd love to see pictures of yours if you have the time.
Thanks!
I would do plum.
Glen blue would be cool with some dark handles imo

You won't like my choice...
Do not change a thing !!
Maybe do the IPE thing on a beat-up used one.
Ultimately, it's your choice.
Will look forward to the outcome. 8)

I absolutely respect your choice and it may be mine as well.... Will decide once I get back from the beach and receive the grill delivery. If it's perfect, it may very well remain bone stock.
Bright green! This one dulls when fired up...

Jeff uses a rivet and a spring clip on the bottom. I'll get picks next time I go to my storage facility.
