Title: *UPDATED* Chicago Meetup info
Post by: LightningBoldtz on September 27, 2025, 07:27:53 AM
Exciting News for the Meetup in 2 weeks, Weber has generously offered a burgundy Weber Smokey Mountain and a Mocha colored Smokey Joe as prizes for the meetup.
Our friends at Backyard BBQ will be offering up a prize and of course Zavod44 labs will have meetup handles for those who attend.
Other prizes include a Weber American Flag grill, a mini Blackstone griddle and a Looft Charcoal starter.

It is in 2 weeks, just 2 weeks October 11 from today in Elgin, Illinois.

Starts midday 11 ish and prizes will be handed out around 4 to 5 pm.
You must attend to be eligible for the prizes.

We have had upwards of 100 grills at these meetups in prior years, this year we may not have as many grills, most importantly we will have good food and good people.

You will get tickets for each grill that you bring.

If you make a dish for the meetup you are eligible for free tickets for the grand prizes.

DM me if you have any specific questions

How did the meet-up go? Any photos to post? Wish I could have been there. Maybe next year.

Will there be a Chicago meetup in 2026? I've never been to one but have followed them somewhat. It seems like they used to be in the spring. I retired last summer and don't want to miss it!
