Fresh picked from our garden today, filled with a mix of cream and sharp cheddar cheeses and wrapped with bacon. Topped with Meat Church Holy Voodoo, these were crunchy, creamy and delicious!
Cheers!
Those look awesome!
Exactly the way I like them.😍
Some folks like to add sausages, shrimp and all kinds of stuff, but I'm a simple girl. Just cream cheese, cheddar, sprinkle some rub and wrap in bacon.
And your bacon is done to perfection for ABTs.
Let me know if you need a mailing address. 😄

Thanks Brenda! I've tried chorizo And other things, but this is the way for us... This grill is so much fun to cook on - has been to to SGI with us once, will probably go again next month.😊
The Traveler seems perfect for traveling.😄
About the bacon... i usually make mine on the Genesis II. But I've learned that parcooking the bacon in the microwave really helps things along.
Is that not necessary on your Traveler?
Those look great! Send a platter up this way.

It was not...... went by lid thermometer temp of about 375F to 400F for one hour. The peppers were super hot when raw and I wanted them to cook through. One hour was perfect for crispy bacon, soft peppers and creamy filling.
I did cook these on a pan/ wire rack combo to try and keep the bottom from burning which worked well.

Thanks Anthony, half of these in the fridge for weekday appetizers. Would share if you were closer!
Those DO look good, both before and after the cook. It's nice to be able to grill things from your own garden.

Thanks so mcuh! The garden has really taken off this year.... We've got at least this many more jalapenos ready, cayennes hanging and blooming everywhere and green tomatoes all over the plants. Fun to watch them grow.
Cheers!
